A basic code of conduct should prevail pre-vail in the family: TRUANCY Youths should know at all times where parents are. A youngster dickering for a convertible con-vertible mustn't suffer frustration because truant papa has skipped off to some silly place of business to fill the family purse just when Junior needs ' it. SOCIAL EVENTS At all mixed gatherings, parents should be well chaperoned. Morals of the older generation leave something to be desired. Necking leaves them cold, so they must be plotting something outlandish. Parents should learn an early bedtime so they won't be underfoot when the hepcats calL Parents should neither b seen nor heard. ALLOWANCES An essential in developing adult responsibility. Parents should be allowed to keep a small portion of their incomes to call their own. HOME DUTIES Allot parents tasks to keep them from mischief about 100 percent of labor arcflmd the house. No pay.
