The latter game should prove to be a close one Week's Results ... Sixth ward. Third, and Fourth won games in the week's league play Saturday night. Sixth downed Seventh, 26-42, with Wheeler and Houtz garnering 13 and 10 points, respectively, for the winners. Col-lett Col-lett and Carter scored highest for the losers. Seventh kept apace of the winners for the most part of the first half, while the cold Sixth warders were trying to collect their shooting and playing form to move out in front in the last half. Fourth won over Fifth by forfeit. for-feit. Third sounded warning that they, are the team to beat when they decisively trounced the Ninth warders 63-21 behind the heavy scoring of Ardeen Childs, who collected col-lected 27 points, six more than the entire Ninth ward team. Thorpe and Smith contributed 26 between the two of them. Three Teams Lead . . . Three teams in the league have established themselves as title contenders con-tenders with perfect records to date.
