Show "DEADER" BALL BECOMES ISSUE CHICAGO, Dec. 7 dM!i- Silence from jittery baseball traders ntched speculation today from players deals at both major league convention hotels to the rabbit-ball rabbit-ball issue which may split the two leagues. Most or tne traders have scurvied scur-vied for cover or become overcautious over-cautious since Detroit sent popular popu-lar Gerald Walker to the Chicago. White Sox and drew a barrage of protests from Tiger fans. The "deader" ball argument was the livest piece of business on the program for the second day of the annual winter meetings.
