Show DEER CREEK SUBSCRIPTION CLOSES SOON South Kama and Washington Wash-ington Irrigation companies in Summit county definitely stand ready to take 500 acre-feet acre-feet of water each in Deer Creek project, A. Several legal details will be ironed out before the South Kamas and Washington proposals will be brought to the association for vote said Mr. Watkins. The board's previous action will probably prob-ably mean ready approval to the two companies if they comply, he indicated. As yet, though expected daily, actual calling for bids on construction con-struction has not been announced. Contractors have been going carefully care-fully over the project site, says Mr. Watkins, and indications are that there will be great interest in bidding". Friday morning Mr. Watkins will turn over to the U. S. government gov-ernment authorities in Salt Lake City the formal subscription contracts con-tracts recently approved by the associaion totaling 92,710 acre feet. A total of 80,000 acre feet is what the government requires to begin construction. |
