Show celler5 to tlie Editor More comments on stop signs The letter published last veek signed by a taxpayer pro-esting pro-esting the excessive use of stop signs of Fourth East St., expressed some of the thoughts I have had in mind for the past several months. We fought' a long, hard ten years to get a traffic semaphore put up at Fourth South and Fourth East and some one came along with a screwy idea and now we have a four way stop. If the officials don't want the citizens of Springville to use Fourth East why don't they plow it up? And another thing. Why haven't right turn lanes been provided on both sides of Main St. at Center? I go through that light at least four times every day and half the time I am stopped by a red light it is because someone has crossed cros-sed the pressure plate, made, a right turn and gone on. The light has turned red after this guy has gbn a block or two down the street. 1 Jack Miller, 380 East 7th South. |
