This week, Mrs. Lois Behrman of Mapleton accepted a check for her son Paul, whose name was taken from the box by the sponsoring merchants, Melvin Duke of Duke's Jewelry and Paul Haymond of Haymond Drug. While Paul's paper said Mrs. Mae Huntington was the Who's Who, the number of clues was listed at 18, just one more than the right number. So to hime went the $10 check for having his name drawn from the box and guessing the Who's Who correctly but he missed the other $lotf for counting just one too many clues. The prize money therefor goes up another $20 to a total of $130 for this week. Its worth ' reading over the ads very carefully and getting the right number of clues as well as guessing the Who's Who. One man was heard to remark re-mark this week that since he had started reading the ads in the Springville Herald so thoroughly, he had less time for the news. Slips of paper with your name, who you list for the Who's Who and the number of clues found, are to be deposited de-posited either or at both Nay-lor Nay-lor Auto on North Main and Christensens Store, this week. The deadline is Monday at closing time for both places of business. - It is evident by some inquer-ies inquer-ies that contestants are . not reading the rules. Reading them each week will save time and will help one to win the right answers. |
