Show Pep clubs go on revue Sat. at Y track meet "Pep Clubs on Review," an annual feature of the Brigham Young University Track and Field Meet, will again attract precision units from 15 Utah high schools in addition to the Grand Junction (Colo.) High School marching unit. The exhibit ex-hibit will be held April 23 at 1 p.m. Miss Lulu Wallace, instructor instruc-tor in women's physical education educa-tion at BYU and director of the 1960 Review announced the list of participating schools Saturday. Invited to perform are West High School, directed by Beverly Bev-erly Pitman; Olympus, Shirley Allen; East, Nena Hawkes; Springville, Darlene Ammott; Wasatch, Lois Carlile; Bingham, Bing-ham, Virginia McDonald; BYU High, Juanita Rogers; Murray, Rita Howells; and Granite, Al-ta Al-ta Christensen. Also included are Spanish Fork, directed by Shirley Ot-tesen; Ot-tesen; Orem, Lanis Dastrup;" Provo', Dawn Meldrum; South, Mr. A. R. Church; Highland, Nancy Wright; Jordan, Marietta Mari-etta Bateman; and Grand Junction, Phywila Elliott. Approximately 1000 girls will join the entrance, precision preci-sion and, dance marching. The Review is a 'display rather than a competitive event. Pep Clubs will wear their official school uniform and each school will carry its own banner. |
