Show i THE STATE FAIR. Tlifc Utah .Statu fair, which opens next Holiday, promises to bo the greatest great-est exhibition in tho history of the state. Members of the board of directors direc-tors ami the officials in charge have been working night and day and are confident t lie program arranged will not only be carried out in ievery detail, de-tail, but will meet with the appreciation apprecia-tion of the exhibitors and the general public as well. Kuormous crowds are expected to aettend the fair and arrangements ar-rangements have been made to take care of them in the best possible manner. man-ner. There will be more special exhibits ex-hibits than heretofore anil many of them will be instructive, in addition to being highly interesting to tho visitors. vis-itors. The general eonferenco of the Latter-day Saints is now iu progress, and it goes without saying that .hundreds, .hun-dreds, if not thousands, of those in attendance will remain over for the fair. During the week tho state will pay fributo to the men who served the country on land and sea during the world ,war, and thousands thou-sands of veterans in uniform will flock to the city. Consequently, for tho next ten days Salt Lake will be crowded with visitors as never before. All roads In the intermountain country lead to the capital of Utah. Let nothing be loft undone to insure the comfort and entertainment of all those who will bo with us during the state fair and while the war heroes are being w-elcomed home in the name of the people of the entire commonwealth. |
