The instructions to continue con-tinue the ofiiee here came from I'ireeior General J. B. ensmore to Parker J. Cndy. federal director for l'tah. Following the receipt of tiie first message, mes-sage, which reached Salt I-ake on Tuesday, Tues-day, instructing that the work be discontinued discon-tinued here, preparations were immediately immedi-ately begun by Mr. Cady to close up the business and to store the office furniture furni-ture in the federal building. The second message caused the dismantling ot the office to be stopped, and plans are being made to carry on the work here. The messace which called for the continuance con-tinuance of the office here follows: "Final passage today of reduced appropriation ap-propriation permits operation of employ-ment employ-ment service. Insregard all telegrams relative to discontinuance of service. Continue Con-tinue as before, including Minn work and jcoi.ilr bureaus until further notice, maintaining relations with outside organisations." |
