Show GAS COMPANY SAYS THERE IS NO STRIKE Special to The Tribune. OOIKX. July 2. Many complaints of the failure of the -4 as company to furnish fur-nish any gas for the homes of the citv led to the report that employees of the company had gone on a strike. The company issued a statement this afternoon in which it was stated that there was no labor trouble, but the low-pressure low-pressure was due to the great demand for gas. Lt was stated that the plant is be-! be-! ing enlarged and repairs are boincr made I in the mains. Assurances were given that the pressure would improve immediately. |
