Show SERVICE CROSS TO BE GIVEN OFFICER T.ACOMA. Wash., March 22. It is announced an-nounced at (.'amp Lewis today that next Wednesday afternoon the regular military presentation ceremonies will be gone through with when Major General J. D. Leiteh, commander of the camp, pins on the coat of First Lieutenant Arthur Trumbull Lee his distinguished service cros. Lieutenant Lec. formerly with the 364th infantry in the Ninety-first division, is at present in the base hospital at camp re-eo re-eo t i ing from wounds. He is now almost al-most well. General Pershing awarded him "the cross for his work last October :U in cleaning out German machine-gun , nests that held up the advance ,of his regiment. The presentation will take place on the parade grounds of the First Infantry and that regiment, a well as the 166th depot brigade, will be drawn up at attention while the soldier receives his decoration. |
