Show KiLE PLANNED ' AT MA SCHOOL Two Hundred Pupils Will Participate in Program Monday Evening. Special to The Tribune. MAGNA, March 22. Two hundred children of the Hawthorne school wilt take part in a musicale to be given at the Cypress high school next Monday evening at 7:15 o'clock. Under the direction of Miss Frickson, assisted by Mrs. Tompson, principal; Mrs. Harris, Miss Ure. Miss Edwards and Miss Dars, the children have rehearsed faithfully and a brilliant success seems i assured. The following program will be rendered, with Miss Ure at the piano: j Opening chorus, "The Three Kings," , by entire school. Scent song. "Hearing." by entire school. Reading. "LamentaVions of Children," Gordon Spenlove. . "Olerian Lullaby," girls' chorus. Minuet, fifth and sixth grades. "Liberty Bell" chorus, school. "Japanese ong," school. Reading, "In the Morning," Ralph Peters. Pe-ters. Fairy and goblin dance, first and secJ ona grades. Boy scout song, bovs' chorus. Reading, "First Call on athe Butcher," Bessie Saliers. Hoop drill, higher grades. Reading. "Jane Jones." Paul Peters. "The Whistler." higher grades. "Lullaby," first and second grades. The proceeds of the musicale will be used to purchase a Victrola for the school. |
