Show OIL PROMOTERS IN IDAHO RESTRICTED 1 Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO. Idaho, Oct. 25. The state ' council of defense of Idaho has put the "crimps" in scores of oil promoters by , the order issued to the .effect that all stock must be approved by the capital i.ssues committee before it can be sold. That means that a large per cent of the would-be oil companies now drilling1 in ( various parts of this and neighboring-states neighboring-states will cease to operate it' they depend de-pend on stock sales receipts to prosecute prose-cute the work. Many Idaho concerns are engaged in oil drilling in the Wyoming Wyo-ming fields. These concerns must show that their stock is bona fide before they can offer it for sale. If the stock is good its sale will be approved by the capital issues committee. The committee issued a warning to all companies having stcck for sale that they must first have the approval of the state committee or be liable to prosecution. The ruling has been in effect fcr some time, but evidently some concerns have "forgotten" the rules. Sale of these stocks has been reported to the state council of defense from various parts of the state and will be stopped at once. |
