Show H ARE WANTED FOR IKTIOli INTO W t Deferred Registrants Will Be Accepted if Physically Physical-ly and Mentally Fit, Officers of the U. S. navy recruiting station In Salt Lake have received instructions in-structions from Washington that applications applica-tions for Induction Into the naval service may be received and considered from men In deferred classifications of any registration, even those who registered September 12, if they have received their classification. Applications, however, can only be received re-ceived from men In deferred classifications, classifica-tions, it is explained. Such men desiring to enter the naval service will, upon making mak-ing application to the recruiting station of tho navy here, be examined psysically and professionals to determine their qualifications. If they are found qualified for naval service application will then be made to the navy department for their induction Into service. Men are wanted in the navy for the following classifications: Pav officers material, deck officers material, engineering officer material, machinist mates ( for submarines), machinist ma-chinist mates (for aviation), quartermasters quarter-masters (for aviation), carpenter's mates tfor aviation), blacksmith (for aviation), coppersmith (for aviation ), shipfitter (for aviation), machinist mates (.for optical work).
