With few exceptions, excep-tions, the middlewest will endure another "sportless Saturday" tomorrow to-morrow because of the Spanish influenza in-fluenza situation, which resulted in a score of football games being cancelled. can-celled. Service elevens will furnish the competition com-petition for three of the western conference con-ference teams. Northwestern will clash with the Great Lakes naval training station sta-tion team in what-probably will be the most important game of the day. The Great Lakes eleven, composed of former intercollegiate stars, already has defeated two "big ten." aggregations. The contest will be played at Great Lakes. Illinois will face the Chicago naval reserve re-serve squad, which, two weeks ago, triumphed over the University of Chicago.' The game will be played at Urbarta. Wis-, Wis-, consin will playCamp Grant at Madison. Xo sreotators will be permitted to witness the contest. Neither will spectators be allowed at Lincoln, Neb., where the University of Nebraska eleven will ptoy two games tomorrow to-morrow the first with Cotner college and the second with Nebraska Wesleyan.
