Ill EXCHANGE BUSINESS SLACKENS Friday's Trading Is Unusually Un-usually Light, With Few Stocks Moving. Business yesterday on the Salt Lake Stock and Mining exchange was the smullest in volume tit any session in several weeks, the totals resembling the record of some of the dullest days in the heated season. The list of the active stocks was also cut by more than 50 per cent, only nine securities moving during the progress of the call. .American Consolidated Copper opened the business with the sale of 1000 shares at 3 ',: cents, this being followed by the transfer of 2600 shares of Eureka Lilly at 13 cents. Eureka Eu-reka Lilly has shared honors with Tintic Standard as an active trader during the past week. New Quincy of Park City moved up another an-other notch aud sold as high as 6V cents after '6000 shares had been taken at 6 cents, 7500 shares in all changing hands. After the recess Eureka Lilly maintained Its strength, 1500 shares going at 13 cents, while Eureka Bullion released 4000 shares at 6V4 cents. Michigan-Utah was n little weaker, 1500 shares being pulled down at 12 cents. Tintic Standard was comparatively Inactive, only 200 shares being taken at $2.60. Silver King Coalition sold 200 shares at 07 cents. The record for the day shows the transfer of 20,000 shares, having a market value of $2253. Closing quotations and sales follow: LISTED STOCKS.
