Show ANNUAL ELECTION IS HELD BY DIRECTORS OF Y.W.Cft. THE board of directors of the Y. W. C A. held their regular meeting Triday morninc;. Officers were elected at this time. Mrs. E. B. Critchlow was re-elected president and the other officers offi-cers elected were: Mrs. J. K. Bowdle, first vice president; Mrs. John Muir, second vice president; Mrs. A. H. Parsons, Par-sons, secretary, and Mrs. Mary A. Cattail, Cat-tail, treasurer. Miss Elvira Slack asked the support nf the members for the hij;h school conference, con-ference, to he held February 22 to 2o, and also presented the matter of the Patriotic Pa-triotic league, a natiemal movement for girls. In appreciation of the story written by Mrs. A. H. Parsons for the annual meeting meet-ing of the association, the board voted to' publish the story in the association monthlv a macaziiie published by the national Y. W.'C. A. board. The story was written bv Mrs. Parsons especially for the meeting, and illustrated the various branches of the work of the association. It was read and illustrated in tableaux form by girls of the association. - Women of the Mooseheart legion will entertain at a card party Monday evening eve-ning at the Moose hall. The Bed Cross auxiliary of the Ladies' T.iterarv chin will meet at the clubhouse Wednes'dav from 10 until 5 o'clock. The new surgical dressings class of the club will meet everv Tuesdav evening from T:Sn until 10 o'clock. This class is for both men and women. The Needlecraft club met Thursday afternoon with Mrs, M. Baxter at her home on Hawthorne avenue. After Ked Cross work, tea was served. The tea table was'' decorated with sweet peas and the valentine idea was carried out. The Poetrv club will meet Monday at I S" o 'clock in the public library. . E. Some chapters of Mrs. M. L. Richie's new book will be read. The Red Cross auxiliary of the First Unitarian church will meet Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. At the meeting of the Salt Lake Woman's club, held with Mrs. W. 11. Tremavne on Monday, a review of "Mr. Britlin'g Sees It Through" was given bv Mrs. A. H. Parsons. Mrs. Georgiana Higson. Mrs. Amelia King and Miss Sallie Xaughton will entertain en-tertain the Past Matrons' circle. Order of the Eastern Star, at the home of Mrs. Higson. 229 street, next Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at 2 o'clock. All members mem-bers of the circle are invited to attend. MRS. E. B.
