The retiring officers of-ficers of the Primary assoctatton gave a social Friday evening at the Scandinavian Scandi-navian hall in honor of the stake officers and their partners and the bishoprics and their partners. What proved to be one of the biggest and most successful social events in the history of Brigham City was the annual ball of the Brigham City Civic Improvement club, which was given at the Academy of Music Wednesday evening. Salt Lflke City and Ogden friends, as well as local ones, will be interested to learn that Miss Mabel Frazer, who has been studying art in Salt Lake City for several years and who taught art in the Ogden high school for the pat two years, has received favorable recognition in art circles in New Yok. At a recent exhibit of the Art Students league Miss Frazer was represented by four sketches of Utah and California scenery and a decorative composition, in oil, water colors and pencil. Miss Frazer is studying figure painting with Frank Vincent Du Mond. one of America's foremost fore-most artists and instructors. She is also studying sculpture with Mr. Tefft at the New York School of Industrial Arts, i At the regular meeting of the Belnatf Order of Maccabees, which was held.
