A provision forbidding the mails to publications containing liquor advertisements advertise-ments going into territory where such advert isements arc unlawful was stricken out on a point of order by Senator Hughes. Senator Jones pave notice he would move Monday to suspend the rules and then move to have the provision inserted. in-serted. A two-thirds vote is required to suspend the rules. A separate bill to accomplish the same end has already passed the senate, but not the house. |
