Outfielder Out-fielder Floyd Fanner will not, aud Pitt-her Bill Fincher may not, accompany accom-pany the Portland Beavers on their training trip to Honolulu. Fincher 's transportation has been canceled, but it will not be definitely known whether Fincher will make the trip until Tuesday. Judge McCredie immediately sent Carson Bigbee, who is a member of the Pittsburg Pirates, an invitation to train with the Beavers, but Carson may have some trouble in getting a permit from Barney Dreyfuss. He wants to make the trip aud may join the Beavers, as he will be back in plenty of time to join the Pirate camp. In case Carson does not go, Outfielder Johnson of the Butte club will be taken. Portland may land a pitcher named Franke of the' Muscatine club of the Central association. He is a free agent. Franke won twelve and lost five games last season. Pitcher Lyle Bigbee arrived here today, to-day, ready to take the Honolulu voyage, and Pineili. O'Brien and Schatzlein are due from San Francisco tomorrow night. Pitcher Carl Mays, a Boston Red Sox holdout, left today for his ranch in Springfield, Mo. The personnel of the Honolulu party now appears to be as follows: Catchers Fisher, O'Brien, Marshall. Pitchers Houck, Penner, Lyle Bigbee, Big-bee, Helfrich, Higbee, Schatzlein, Zwei-f Zwei-f el, Brandt. Infielders Stumpf, Rodgers, Hol-locher, Hol-locher, Pineili.
