The event was one of the first ever held in Salt Lake in which the all-winter types only were eligible, and frool the en- thusiasm that the affair was greeted 1 with, it is likely that an event of the kind will be held on other holidays. More than fifty luxurious models, comprising the latest and most advanced ad-vanced styles, participated. The parade started at South Temple and State streets, and for more than an hour the long line of cars roamed "leisurely through the business seetiou and was watched by hundreds of persons. The successful eveut was originated at the banquet given by the dealers to the management of the Keith-O'Brien store, following a closed car show which was held in the Keith-O'Brien building. build-ing. It is asserted among the dealers that this show, said to be the first ever held in a department store, attracted more attention to the popular line of closed car6 than any previous show in the citv. Machines which participated in the parade were the Buick, Overland, Kissel-Kar, Kissel-Kar, Mitchell, Chandler, Maxwell, Ford, Hudson, Jeffery, Allen, Seripps-Booth, National, Beo "and many others. In addition many purchasers entered their models. |
