Show EDUCATION BOARD IN COiTY NAMED, John Wheeler of Slaterville and A. C. Christensen of ; Hooper Nominated. j i Special to The Tribune. OGDEX, Dec. 2. Delegates selected by the citizens in the various voting districts held conventions here today and nominated candidates for the Weber county board of education from districts dis-tricts No. 2 and No. 4. A. C. Christensen Christen-sen of Hooper, present board member irom the Second district, was nominated :o succeed himself and John Wheeler ot Slaterville was nominated in the Fourth district to succeed Joshua Homer. It i is probable that there will be at least I one additional candidate voted for in each district at the Wednesday election. elec-tion. The second district includes the voting vot-ing districts of West Weber, Roy, Hooper, Taylor and Kanesville. The first two named were not 'represented when the delegates held their convention conven-tion in the school, board headquarters here this morning. The Fourth district embraces the settlements of Farr West. Slaterville, Warren, West Warren and Plain City. The convention for this district dis-trict was held in the afternoon, but Plain City had no delegates present. For the election next Wednesday J there will be a polling place in each of the ten voting districts comprising the two general school divisions and in most cases the voting will take place at the district school house. The polls will be open from 7 a. m. to 7 p. m. As in the city, any person qualified to vote at the November 7 general election elec-tion will also be qualified to vote for ! school directors.
