Show ORDERS RELEASE OF KLEIMAN IN DETROIT Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Dec. 2. Upon the discovery that the man had been sending money regularly to his wife in this city, County Attorney Joseph E. Evans today refused to push the charge of desertion against Derk A. Kleiman, arrested in Detroit, Mich., at the request of local authorities. Sheriff T. A. DeVine immediately wired the Detroit police ordering the release of Kleiman, who is a railroad machinist. The case took a peculiar turn today when County Attorney Evans learned that Mrs. Kleiman had been more deslrious of learning where her husband was located lo-cated than of having him brought back and prosecuted. When the countv attorney attor-ney declared that he would refuse to push the oomplaint the woman is said to have appeared extremely pleased and asked the prosecutor to be sure to inform in-form Kleimaji that it was she who brought about his release from jail. |
