I MORE FACTS ABOUT I ARIZONA RAY COPPER I This Company owns, free and clear of debt, 12 claims I j (170 acres) adjoining and lying between and surrounded I by side line and end line with Ray Consolidated, which is sell- 1 ' ing at $34.50 per share and paying $3 a share dividends, and the Ray Hercules, which is selling at $4.50 per share and I I building a million dollar plant. Kay Hercules has developed 1 i but 13Y2 acres and it is estimated that it has at least 3,400,- S 000 tons of 2.36 copper. In Teporting on the properties of the AEIZONA RAY, MR. FREDERICK E. YOUNG, I one of the most prominent Mining Engineers of the west, has hf this to say: "Group No. 1, consisting of the Juarez, Adven- ture, Colorado and Wedge claims, lies within a proven zone. There is no reason to doubt that it is underlaid with ore-bear- : ing schist. Drilling should prove this ground as valuable as the surrounding acreage on the Hercules and Ray Consoli- ' dated properties, with probable improvement in value, as the ' zones of concentration along the Adventure and Calumet i faults are approached. Group No. 2, or Copper Zone group, has an equally promising outlook, being practically surround- j jj ed by proven ground. There seems no reason to doubt that r this section is also underlaid with copper schist." ! EDMUND L. HIATT, ; for six years Chief Engineer for the Ray Consolidated, re-i re-i signed his position with that company and has charge of the ) development of the ARIZONA RAY. The first churn drill has been installed and is now being worked night and day. A working shaft is also being sunk on Copper Zone No. 7 : claim, where there is high-grade ore on the surface. This JJ surface ore is on the same vein from which the Ray Con- j I solidated has been shipping 6 per cent ore, and is undoubtedly i an extension of the rich ore body they are developing only j about 2000 feet distant. 5 ! With churn drills, a property such as the ARIZONA I j RAY can be developed at one-tenth the cost and in one-tenth the time that it would take to develop it by shafts, tunnels, etc. By this method, millions of tons of ore can be blocked I out at a comparatively small cost and then, if the company ! is justified in constructing its own plant, it is in position i j where it has ample security upon which to raise any neces- j ' 1 sary amount of money for such a reduction plant 1 YOU CAN DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS FROM I ; THE ABOVE FACTS. 2 IT IS ON DEFINITE AND POSITIVE INFORMATION I ' THAT WE ADVISE YOU TO BUY TODAY. ij Maps of property, engineers' reports and full particulars j 5 on request from 8 W. John F. Cowan as Managing Director j u i J THE TUCSON-ARIZONA COPPER CO. is just formed to take over what 1 has all the "ear-marks" of a big copper mine, and should eventually rank with J 1 the best. ' : 1 The Tucson-Arizona Copper Co., now the owners of the Crepin Group of 1 twenty-three claims, was secured by John F. Cowan of Salt Lake City, one of Utah's most successful mining men, who, during the past two years, found and 1 developed five producing properties an enviable record. 1 The Crepin mine enjoys the advantage of being located only twenty miles I from the Sasco Smelter, Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. p The veins measure ten to forty feet wide on the surface, and returns from shipments give 4 to 6 per cent copper and $5.00 silver to the ton. Mr. Cowan states it is his opinion that the mine will more than pay operat- ing expenses forthwith, and, furthermore, that values are improving as depth is j gained. Trucks are being sent from Los Angeles to facilitate ore shipments. Tucson-Arizona Copper will have the distinction of being a producer from its inception and, notwithstanding the tonnage of ore now available, Tucson- l Arizona Copper is only in its first stages of development. j 1 John F. Cowan says: "I see the probability of making in Tucson-Arizona j Copper the greatest success I have enjoyed to date." j I : i John F. Cowan's most recent success is the Walker Mining Company of t s California, control of which was recently purchased by a 'subsidiary of the Ana- j J x conda Copper-Company. Strong banking interests of Salt Lake City were hr. I Cowan's heavy supporters in developing the Walker Mine. Shares of Walker j j Mining which were available in Salt Lake at around 50c, less than six months ago, I recently sold above $3.00. Tucson-Arizona Copper authorized capital, $1,000,000; par, $1.00; 600,- I 1 000 shares issued and pooled; 400,000 shares now in treasury. Subscription lists will be opened at our office December 4, 1916, for an al-' jj m lotment of 100,000 shares of the treasury stock at 45c per share. S 1 No subscription will be accepted for more than 5000 shares from any one I party, since it, is our desire to permit many of our clients to take advantage of this I exceptional opportunity at the initial price. We reserve the right to pro rate or I reject any or all applications. ; i We believe Tucson-Arizona Copper the best buy among the coppers, I j which are making more quick fortunes than any other class of investments. 1 3 TUCSON-ARIZONA COPPER, when listed, should prove a popular trader i. at advanced prices. , I We believe the allotment will be oversubscribed several times. 7"i ' ilETZPIER, IOVEWELL a CO. !
