Show MOONLIGHT DANCE AT LAKE FRIDAY NIGHT As the date of the formal opening of Saltair, May 27, approaches, the preseason pre-season moonlight barn dances become more popular and the interest of dancers waxes high in these delightful weekly af- faTh'e earlv season musical selections are being whistled and sung by everybody, and the orchestra is weekly introducing new airs. Among the most popular dance numbers is the composition of Bandmaster Harry Montgomery, entitled "La Saltair. 1 his is the one-step, the hesitation and the fox trot all In one and is proving quite a favorite fa-vorite Other selections are: Two-step. "The Watchword;" one-step, "We'll Have a Jubilee in Our Old Kentucky Home, which is being worn to a rag by its popularity popu-larity the much-liked waltz, "Aloha;' the long-time favorite, "When Tou Wore a Tulip" one-step;. "Snookie Ookums waltz- "Bom Bom Bay," one-step; the "Humoresque" and "Good Night" waltzes and scores of others. Two trains are scheduled to leave the Saltair depot Friday night for the dance, one at 7:4: and the other at 8:lo. and dancing will begin immediately after the arrival of the first train. |
