Cavalry equipment, so far as it differs from infantry equipment, will' be supplied at tho earliest convenient con-venient time after July 1, at which time all equipment not common to infantry and cavalry, now in the possession of organizations, will be turned in. These organizations will bo assigned to the Second squadron when organized. Pending the muster in of the two additional troops, all those troops will bo considered as one squadron. The second additional troop to be or ganized will probably be formed in Provo. Troops May Mobilize. Kepresontatives of the railroads entering en-tering Salt Luke called upon Adjutant General Wedgwood yesterday to discuss with him the requirements of railroad equipment and the expediting of tho departure de-parture of troops in tho event that the Utah National Guard is called out by the president for duty on the Mexican Viorder. General Wedgwood declared that if the call came, the state troops would mobilize for departure at Fort Douglas. General Wedgwood had received no word yesterday from Washington about the possible movement of Utah guardsmen guards-men for duty on the border. |
