Show MELOPE SPRINGS GO. ; WILL INSTALL MILL Reduction Plant Similar to That of the Daly-Judge to Ee Erected. j Basins their opinions ob the similarity of the ore now being milled at Hie reduction re-duction plant of the Daly-Judge Mining company at Park City and tho ore bo- ; ing developed at the Antelope Springs Mining company 'a property in tho Antelope An-telope Springs niiniug district of Lhnn-boldt Lhnn-boldt county, Nevada, Dr. Allen C. Ea- I kin, secretary and treasurer of the Antelope An-telope SpriDgs Mining company, Dr. G. P. GUI, district surgeon of the Illinois Central railroad, with headquarters at I Eoekford. 111., accompanied by General Manager John W. GeJgher of the Antelope Ante-lope Springs Mining company, upon their return vesterdav from Park City expressed ex-pressed 'the opinion that the reduction plant, of the Antelope Springs company would make equally as good a saving as that of the Dalv-Judge plant. J. J. Meyers "of Buffalo, M. Y., representative rep-resentative ' of laroe eastern interests, ' las continued his "trip to the Pacific, coast,-after making a careful examination examina-tion of tho reports of engineers relative to the Antelope Springs property. In order to cheei up the reports he made a trip to the property and expressed him-eelf him-eelf as highly gratified to find tho property prop-erty in every particular as represented. He' expects 'to return to Koekford, 111., by way of New Orleans and in two "weeks will submit his report to the board of directors at Bockford, after which, ho said, the construction of the reduction plant at the Antelope Springs property would be started. While at the property Mr. Meyers suggested that in addition to the erection erec-tion of the milling plant, similar to that of the Daly-Judge, there be. immediately constructed further surface improve-1 improve-1 jnents in the way of mine buildings. He ! also advised sinking ou the ore body where the No. 4 tuunel encounters the vein and the construction of better ' transportation facilities for the haulage ! of the ores and concentrates. Drs. Eakin and Gill, accontpanicd by Manager Gcigher, found the Park Daly-Judge Daly-Judge mill at Park City operating on I practically the same clas3 of silver-lead-zinc ore that has been encountered and developed in the Antelope Springs property prop-erty and making a very good saving. They were gratified to learn that the I values could be recovered at the Antelope Ante-lope Springs by practically duplicating the milling process. This has been dem. onstrated on the teats made on the Antelope An-telope Springs ores. Accoraing to the tests, it will concen- , trato four tons into one, -which "will reduce re-duce the haulage charges from the mine to the railroad and also the freight charges, thereby making a considerable saving for the' company. The assay , sheets show that the values of tho ores I are 18.5 ounces of silver, 11.5 per cent lead, 32.3 per cent zinc and 12 per cent iron to the ton. |
