SHORT LINE VIADUCT PLAN IS SUBMITTED , Proposed Addition to North Temple I Street Structure Presented "by ! E. E. Calvin, vice president ! and general manager of the Oregon 'Short Line. I The plans call for a dcw steel via-I via-I duct over the tracks of the company ion North Temple street from Third j West to a point1 a short distance east ; of Fifth West street, together with j the straightening out of the line on i the west side of the present viaduct j and making the approaches safer on the west side. The proposed plan calls ifor an addition of twenty-two feet to the north of the present viaduct which i will be devoted to vehicle and foot i traffic exclusively, the present viaduct : being- left to the use of street carg, I with the exception of a sis-foot waik j on the south side I The offer of the company will like-j like-j lv be referred next Monday nicht to ,tne city engineer and the commissioner 'of streets tor a report.
