BUFFALO STARTLED BY TRIPLE TRAGEDY Mrs. Lizzie Drake, Mrs. Irene Spencer and Her Daughter Found With Skulls Crushed. BUFFALO, X. Y Feb. 5. The bodies of Mrs. Le7.zio Drake, 65; Mrs. Irene Spencer, 35, and her daughtor, Gertrude Ger-trude JSpp.ucer, 12, were found in their beds at their home at Salamanca todaj. Their heads had been crushed in with a sledge hammer. The hammer, smeared with blood and hair, was found cm the floor in one of tho rooms. Boys pasinrr the Drake homestead made the discovery. The bodies were iu separate rooms and there wns no evidence of a struggle. Apparently the victims had been elain as they slept. Physicians who examined the bodies said that the murder had been committed com-mitted three or four day? ago. Pel ice have sent ou t au alarm for a former boarder at the Drake ho'iie.. Mrs. Drake was Mrs. Spner's mother.
