A divorce was granted grant-ed Lizzie Whttear from Eugene Whltear I today in the Fourth district court, on the I ground of cruelty. Both parties asked for ' divorce on the ground of cruelty, but ; plaintiff's complaint was withdrawn and the case was tried on defendants cross-complaint. cross-complaint. F. T. Jones was appointed a commissioner to partition the property between the litigants. The parties are from Santaouin. and were married at Manli, August 26, 1001.
