Show EASTERNERS ME OP SALTLAKE CITY Town Famed on Other Side of the Rocky Mountains, Says L. S. Mariger. L. S. Mariger of the Seeing; Salt Lake and the Salt Lake Livery and Transfer Trans-fer companies returned yesterday from a business trip through the middle west. Ho attended tho automobile show in Chicago and visited various automobile factories in .Michigan and Ohio. While away Mr. Mariger bought two two-ton baggage trucks and a bus for the transfer company and three big sightseeing cars for the sightseeing cohipany. Tho trucks will bo placed in service "about February 20 and the bns to accommodate guests of the New-house New-house ' hotel and trie sightseeing cars will arrivo about March 1. "Business was better than T expected in all the cities 1 visited ' he says. "The automobile manufacturers are especially busy. They are working three shifts and running the plants twenty-four twenty-four hours a day trying to catchy up with their orders for war automobiles. ' ' Everybody is optimistic, the railroad rail-road men in particular.
