Show JACK RQYLE IS SENT TO MEXHM BORDER Former Salt Laker Will Represent Rep-resent the Associated Press at El Paso, Texas. .1. C. Hoylo, hotter known to his many friends in Salt Lake as "Jack" Royle, is now on his way to El Paso, Tex., where he will represent tho Associated As-sociated Press in tho capacity of war correspondent. Mr. Roylo is eminently equipped to handlo the work for which he has been chosen. Aside from his ability as a newspaper man ho is thoroughly thor-oughly versed in tho Spanish language, speaking, reading and writing it fluently. fluent-ly. .Tack Koylc is a native of Salt Lake and spent his boyhood here. For a time he worked as a renorter on Tho Tribune, and later jvas employed at tho Denver olBce of tue Associated Press. Ho was. transferred to this city and was the manager of tho local office of the news service, going from fiorc to San Francisco and then to Seattle iu the same capacity. Jlia last transfer was to the Chicago office, and it is from that point thnt ho was ordered to the Mexican border. A telegram was received yesterday bv Mtb. Eugene B.
