Hondrlck-son. Hondrlck-son. According to the police, the Greek-". Nick Carlos and G. A. Vassloudls, had been forcing their attentions upon three young women, living at 03 East Sixth South street. The young women, who are sisters, and gave tho names Kflle, orace and Mnndy Stormncas. asked the police for protection against the Greeks, three of whom the girls reported had formed a habit of hanging about the house at ail hours of the nlchi. Pntrolmnn llendrlckson and Chauffeur Charles Malln went Inst night lo keep tryst with tho alleged persistent swains. The Greeks ran when, they saw the ofn-cers. ofn-cers. One got away entirely. One was j huld by Chauffeur Malln, and the third was wounded in the little toe of his right foof by a bullet from tho revolver of Patrolman Pa-trolman llendrlckson. Detectives Moroni Gillespie and IT D. Lyon took up the trail of blood left by the wounded man and found him at SIS South Main street, arrested him and took him to headquarters, headquar-ters, where his wound was dressed In thf emergency hospital before he was locked up. |
