Life Insurance companies, with headquarters In New York, today began to take cognizance of tho hostilities in Mexico by issuing war policies for the benefit of those about to leave to engage In naval and militia service in Mexico. One of the largest companies Issued instructions to Its agents that the limit of Insurance to be accepted accept-ed on members of, or those Intending lo Join, tho state militia, naval guard or naval reserve of the United States, was $2000.
