Show FEDERALS BUY FOOD ON AMERICAN SIDE OJINAGA, Chihuahua, Mexico, Dec. 14. Buying food on the American side at Presidio, Texas, for the 4000 federal troops garrisoned hero was tho chief activity In the altuation at OJlnaga today. People coming from tho Interior said they heard cannonading between the federal and robel outposts and the fedornls were anxious to obtain provisions before the expected fight. General Navarette, with 2000 federals, was reported marching on Chihuahua from Monterey. The federal commander was said to be at Jlmlnez, 1ST miles aouth of Chihuahua. Thla report was transmitted trans-mitted across tho river today to General Morcado by the Mexican consul at Marfa, Texas. Federal soldiers have beon stationed at half-mile Intervals along the river bank for ten miles above and below OJlnaga with orders to shoot soldiers who attempt to dosert. So far as known thoro have been few deserUons from tho Huerta forces, but thoro Is much dissatisfaction dis-satisfaction among tho troops. It Is said.
