Show LIFE OF BROKERS NOT ALL SUNSHINE Like) vryona else, tho stock broker have their share of thla world'n troubles trou-bles that somewhat dull the edge of the pleasure of their auto-ridinr existence, and one local broker was groaning yesterday yes-terday over an experience ho has lust encountered, which is about a.i unique as he can recall In his career. It appears ap-pears that several years ago he foM a large block of stock for an eastern client, the stock having been in the client 5 name. This particular stock has been kicking round the world ever since without having hav-ing been transferred, and as thla particular par-ticular Issue Is quite active, it Is likely that it has passed through a dozen different dif-ferent ownerships since the particular sale mentioned. A letter from the client Friday stated that the writer was continually receiving receiv-ing notices from the company, ami that while he may b a shareholder of record he no longer waa an actual stockholder, anl unless tho stock in his namo was Immediately transferred ho would begin legal action against the broker. He evidently evi-dently fears that there la somo responsibility respon-sibility attached to tho mere fact of his being a stockholder of n-cord. Meanwhile, whoever owns this particular par-ticular stock la hereby warned that he or she should havo it transferred at once, or run tho risk of being a party to the legal action.
