Butte miners' union tonight adopted resolutions denouncing de-nouncing tho attempt of the Industrial orkers of the World to flood Butte with "nn army of unemployed by advcitlfling broadcast, particularly In Salt Lako Cllv. that a dearth of miners exists here aiid urging all unemployed to hasten to Butte. Tho scheme Is nothing more than an T. W. W. plot, say tho leaders of the miners' union, tp further tho I. W. W. Socialist propaganda In Butte. The local organization has wired all locals of the Western Federation to repudjato any advertisements which might appear telling tell-ing that miners are needed In Butte. There are ample miners In Butte to supply sup-ply all requirements, state the officials of tho uplon, and for more to come In would simply bring about want and misery. To combat the campaign of the I. W. W., local people of prominence are urging urg-ing that the state department of labor and Industry and the federal government govern-ment bo notified of tho campaign of misrepresentation mis-representation with a view to repressive action being taken. |
