Show MARBLE CONTRACT AGAIN DISCUSSED Members of Capitol Commission Meet "Without a Quorum and Havo Informal Talk. Owing to the fact that M. S. Browning Brown-ing of Ogden, one of the capitol commission com-mission members, was unablo to attend tho mooting yesterday afternoon and that Antbon II. Lund was out of tho city, tho commission failed of a ciuo- rum whon it convened yesterday afternoon. after-noon. As a result, tho much-discussed marble contract was not let. The next meeting was set for Wednesday morning morn-ing at 10:30 o'clock. Mr. Browning has stated that ho will be able to attend then and there is no doubt that a quorum vrilJ be held. Most of tho afternoon wa3 spent in listening to arguments presented for Utah marblo by representatives of the Salt Lako Real Estate association. Tho association at its meeting yesterday noon adoptod a resolution favoring the home stone. S. B. Tuttle, Charles Tyng and Edward Ashton comprised the "committee "com-mittee which met tho capitol commission. |
