However, at the beginning of last week Inquiries began to come In faster, with a growing Hot of proHpects to show property, while transactions of a healthy character Increased. This trend was maintained generally throughout through-out the week, resulting In tho first noticeable no-ticeable Impetus the market has felt for several weeks. While this does not mean that sales havo been exceptionally frequent or that the wock stood out unusually strong In the local real estate world, dealers agree that the past seven days have 'shown healthy activities, when compared with prevalent conditions in former weoks, and when It Is remembered that the hot season Invariably brings a lull In realty happenings. Dealers are confident confi-dent that a review of the past week forecasts more activity and a much healthier market. Bench Property Active. As has been the case from the Inception Incep-tion of the summer season, the larger portion of activities havo been confined to the transfer, sale and rental of resident resi-dent properties, particularly those on tho benches surrounding the city. Prospective Pros-pective home owners are gradually coming com-ing to a realization of the advantages and natural attractions of bench properties prop-erties as choice residence sites, and as a result have asked promoters of these properties to show them over the additions addi-tions This resulted in many sales before be-fore the closo of the week. Dealers roport ro-port that modern dwellings of the more aristocratic type and materials are cither planned or under way for these sites, and that more ready purchase cash has been In evidence.
