Show Leading Lehl Woman Dead. Sneclnl lo The Tribune. LEHI. July 22. Mrs. Emelino Giles, wife of Jesse "H. Giles, died last evening. She loaves eight small children, the youngest being born yesterday. Mr. Giles had undergone an operation for appendicitis appendi-citis at Provo about ono week ago and returned homo but a few hours prior to his wife's death, Mrs. Giles was formerly Miss Emelinc Carllng and was born In Fillmore forty years ago. She came to Lehl two years ago., and will be taken to Fillmore for burial this afternoon after the funeral services, which will be held at 3 o'clock In the new tabernacle A few days ago Thomas Sunderland was thrown from a buggy, the fall breaking his leg Just abovo the knee. His horse became frightened at a passing pass-ing automobile. Whllo still confined to his bed with his fractured knee he was taken with an attack of appendicitis and yesterday was operated on and his appendix ap-pendix removed. |
