I MISTREATS HIS WIFE; THOUGHT TO BE. INSANE Grover Gcndlck, who has been living in a. wagon about the city for the past throe months, was arrested by Patrolman Phillips Phil-lips yesterday for mistreating his wife. The couple and their boy. who Is about years of age, were taken to police headquarters, where the man coolly informed in-formed the officers that his wife was Insane- He produced papers to prove this and .the papers showed that both he and his wife had been confined in an asylum in IllinoiB. The man was locked up and at the first move of the officers to search him he became so violent that It took soveral to hold him. The wagon was taken into nhe jail yard and the woman told to take caro of it until her husband's caso Is disposed of.
