The directors of the Utah Jockey club met Thursday night at the Cullen hotel, wliere the final arrangements for tho forty days' spring meeting at the Buona Vista race track were made. The meeting meet-ing will open May 1C, with a dally prize list of ?li"i00, In addition to feature events, stakes and handicap races. Thero will be seven stake races of a guaranteed guaran-teed value of Jjoon and up, together with several rich overnight events. The officials of-ficials of Iho track were also decided upon. Thursday afternoon President Condron nnd Manager Dwyei went out lo the track and looked over tho grounds. Condron said that tho track had wealhon.-d the winter win-ter fine and looked as good as when the horsemen left ii last fall The officials decided upon were Richard Rich-ard Dwyor. manager and starter; Frank St. D. Skinner, presiding Judge and handlcapper: Nelson Maynard, associate Judge; Sam McGlbbon of Frisco, who is now officiating at Emeryville, clerk of scales; J. C. Denue patrol Judge and entry clerk; F. V". Fitzgerald, assistant clerk of scales; Eddie Penrose, patrol judge; F. E. Sehefskl. official timer; Dr. A. S. Kendall, veterinary; Dr. F. B. Steele, track surgeon; Arthur Elrod. ring manager, who holds the same position at the Jacksonville track; C. C. Campau i of Xow Orleans, nsslslnnl manager and I financial secretary; Messrs. Condron, Dwyor and Skinner, board of stewards. Manager Dwyer will leave today for Snn Francisco, where ho will remain until un-til the close of iho Emeryville meeting.
