OGDEN, March 17 Shortly after tholr arrival In Ogden this morning to tcstifv In the case against Thomas ' Brown, Hmrged with soiling adulterated milk. State Dairy and Food Commissioner Wlllard Wll-lard Hansen and his deputy, II. C- Smith, found a shipment of butter from a creamery cream-ery at Afton, Wyo.. which showed that three and one-half cases weighed an ounce less apiece than the weight marked on the packages. The ofllcers also found that butter under un-der weight had been sold by Blackmail & Grifiln of Ogden. Commissioner Hansen said that a complaint will be Issued at once charging Blackmail fc Grlflln with violating the state law. Under the advice of United Stales Attorney At-torney Hiram "Booth, the shipment of butter but-ter from Wyoming was confiscated and the Afton company will be prosecuted under the Interstate pure food laws In the federal court of this district. |
