Show K MEETING HELD El K IB Annual Election of Oliicers of Woman's American Club; IVo Papers Read. The annual election of officers of tho Woman's American cluh was held at the regular January meeting of the organisation organisa-tion at Ihe homo of Mrs. Marv Mover, file Fourth avenue, Monday afternoon. Without exception, the officers of last year were re-elected unanimously They follow: President. Mrs. F.llzabeth Cohen: vice president. Mrs. G. II Raybonld; secretary. sec-retary. Mrs. P. E Connor: treasurer. Mrs. Mary Bero. The executive commit-too commit-too consists of the foregoing officers and a member from each municipal ward, as follows: First ward. Mrs. YV. II. Bennett: Second ward. Mrs. J. J. William; Third ward, Mrs. Mary ITarbaeh; Fourth ward, Mrs. M. TI. Parker: Fifth ward. Mrs. Jennie Uoleomb. Two papers, one by Mrs. Jennie IIol-comb IIol-comb and the other by Mrs. J. J. Williams, Wil-liams, wero features of the meeting, and music, was furnished by Miss DeCamp. After the routine business Incidental to the regular monthly meellng was attended attend-ed to. refreshments wero served and a social hour was enjoyed. The meeting was exceedingly well attended and several sev-eral new members were added to the club. This being the irt meeting of the year, the earnest women workers who compose the club resolved anew to work for the accomplishment of that purpose for which the organization was formed-the formed-the redemption of Utah and the purity of tho home. |
