With wheat leading In the advance, the 'market here idday showed Increased prices in all grains and provisions. Light offerings and fironc demand for the cash grain started the pit with a material advance nnd kept the market strong. From the initial sal prices for May wheat advanced In steady profession profes-sion to a h.lgh point of $L13i. which came just before the close. The final figures dropned tc from-the high point, th: close for May belntr Hf?l?c higher than Friday's Fri-day's last quotation, at 5I.13L Intense cold In l he northwest, together with bullish bull-ish cables, contributed to the strength displayed by the leading future. Corn was firm through most of the day. based, in part, on weather forecasts of a return of extreme cold weather, with considerable delay In transportation.
