Show SUPPOSEDDEAD MAN ALIVE. UNDER ARREST ALBANY, N. Y., April 2. After burying tho body of a young man she bolievod to be her son, Arthur, and receiving re-ceiving $G50 from an insurance company com-pany on a policy on his life, Mrs. Josephine Jo-sephine Dotv of Rensselaer, today learned her son not only was living, but had been arrested at Plattsinouth, Neb., charged with desertion from the army. Last September a man was killou in a railroad accident at Ravena. No one appeared to claim the body and it was buried in the potter's lield. Mrs. Doty, who had learned her son had deserted from the army, believed the Ravena victim might bo he. She had the body exhumed and with other mombers of the family, identified it as that of Arthur Doty. |
