OCR Text	Show BITTER FIGHT OVER HELENA BOND ISSUE HELENA. Mont.. Aug. S. On the cvo of the special election tomorrow, which has for Its object the decision as to whether the city shall Issue 36n0,000 worth of bonds for the construction of a now water system, both sides are lined up for a bitter tight. Four Republican aldermen have abandoned aban-doned Mayor Kdwards at the last moment and have Issued a circular to taxpayers opposing the bond Issue. To this the mayor has replied with a statement of his position and appealing to the people for support. The American Light and Power company of Kansas City was the successful success-ful bidder for the contract, contingent upon the result of this election.
