S According to the outlook tonight there will be no strike of tho Klreel car employees of Chicago and an amicable settloment Is llkelv to be reached by tomorrow night. It" Is said an offer of a wage Increase based on employees' em-ployees' length of service will be made by President Mitten of tho Chicago City Railway company. John M. Roach, president of the Chicago Chi-cago Railway company, has had his auditors au-ditors at work figuring out a method of advancing wages, and It Is expected his first offer to a committee of his employees em-ployees tomorrow will be on the same , genrMal basis as that proposed by Mr. Mitten.
