Show FURTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE FOR LABOR DAY Further arrangements for Labor day-were day-were decided upon by the Federation of Labor at a meeting held Sunday night, when a number of unions were represented represent-ed nnd messages wero read from other branches of the federation who will visit the city. At tho meeting hold thirty unions wore represented, there being fifty, however, registered for the parade, ten of which will put in flutes as a musical accompaniment accom-paniment to assist In the marching, besides be-sides tho eight bands which will accompany accom-pany the unions In the parade. Communications were received from the Western Federation of Miners at Eureka Eu-reka that a delegation of about fi00 will bo present from that place to take part In the celebration. Large numbers aro also expected from Murray, Iilngham, Mldvale and Garlleld. It Is hoped that Park City will alo Join tho federation hero In the festivities, but nothing doll-nlte doll-nlte Is known as yet. About $500 will be given away In cash prizes, the feature of the events bolng a drilling contest, for which S'fi will be given, |
