"You may depend upon it, there will be a good delegation of the members of the Grand Council of Commercial Travelers of Boiso present at the fifth annual outing and Grand Council meeting meet-ing wliich is lo bo held in Salt Lako City next week. We have arranged ar-ranged a team of baseball players that wo think has not an equal in this part of tho country, and we are coming down lo Salt Lata City with the determination de-termination to carry away tho larger part of tho gate receipts and a few of the prizes." This was the manner in which tho interest aroused in Boise over the coming Grand Council meeting of the U. C. T. was expressed Tuesday night by J. If. Burkloy. manager of tho Boise bnseball team and member of the Commercial Travelers fraternity. Mr. Barkley 'explained that the Commercial Com-mercial Travelers of Boise have appointed ap-pointed a committee from among their members, including A. TI. Barkley. A. F. Carlson, president of ihe Boise Commercial Com-mercial club, and B. B. Bliss, secretary of tho U. C. T. The members of this committee have been working hard, and j havo brought to the attention of the merchants of that city and the surrounding sur-rounding territory the advantages of thpir going to Salt Lake City to attend the U. C. T. outing. I" We are coming with all the kindness kind-ness in the world to see what Salt Lake ', City can do, and we are going to have a good time. There will be about one hundred delegates, and the chances are that a good many of the citizens of j the city will take advantage of tho low railroad rates and the fact that the cole- ; bra lion is taking place to visit Salt Lake City.
